In recognition of the good news that the Senator has reopened, I’m posting another of my favorite photos. From the midnight showing of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, a couple years back. I’m thrilled that the Senator is under the management of the Charles Theater; one of the most successful independent theaters around. Great fit.

Before summer started, we picked up these awesome retro-inspired fans — one standing fan, and one tabletop. In the brutal heat of last summer, our AC wasn’t up to the task. With guests and excitement this year, we didn’t want to risk it.

They’ve been incredibly useful; this one hanging out with me while I did some repairs in the bathroom one day. And, bonus!, they look great.

Baltimore, you’re beautiful more often than people give you credit for.

Made some mint chocolate chunk ice cream, this past Tuesday night, using York Peppermint Patties and Hershey Special Dark. It’s super dangerous to keep in the house.

On Sunday Lindsay and I stopped by Rustico for lunch after leaving my Dad’s place. It’s a trendy joint, for sure. I loved the hanging lamps made from a naked bulb and Campari bottles. Great idea.

Post-storm confusion.

Got into the office, today, and my awesome Transmit 4 Shirt was waiting for me. Happy Day! And while Transmit 4 is awesome, and the shirt looks tough while feeling soft like a lavender breeze, I was really impressed by the receipt. I shouldn’t be surprised that Panic! takes that much pride in every detail of what they ship, but god damn that’s a good looking receipt.
